This was our second stay at the Sheraton Tribeca and we can not fault the hotel. It's location is good, with the Canal Street subway just around the corner, it was easy to travel up, or downtown. The staff are so welcoming and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We booked a Club room and was allocated a room on a higher floor, so had great views! The room was very big, with floor to ceiling windows and a lovely big, comfy bed...we slept very well! The Club room gave us access to the Club lounge, where we could have breakfast in the mornings (eggs, bacon, sausage, bagels, toast, cereal, fruit, yoghurt, coffee, water etc.) and drinks and light snacks in the evenings (tortilla chips, dips, hot savouries, crudities, water, wine & beer etc.) The lounge leads out onto a big terrace, with ample seating and great views uptown! You can't smoke on the terrace, but you can take your food and drinks out and enjoy the New York skyline (I have included a picture of the view). This is all included in the price of the Club room and it was great to start the day with a good breakfast and end the day with a glass (or two) of wine before collapsing into bed, exhausted! We love New York and when we go again, will have no hesitation in staying at the Sheraton Tribeca!

I've stayed at the Sheraton Tribeca on my last two visits to NYC. I liked it so much the first time that I re-booked it a year later. The hotel is very comfortable. I have had a Club room on both stays and that makes it very worthwhile. Breakfast is included and served in the Club room on the 21st floor. They also have an inclusive happy hour each night in the Club room. The roof terrace is also available for Club room visitors. My husband and I spent a lot of time on the roof terrace. Spectacular views, with comfortable seats. We went out there to read for a few hours each day and also sat out there and enjoyed the sunset with a bottle of wine a few times. The hotel is on Canal Street, so walking around SoHo, Chinatown, Little Italy and even Greenwich Village are all easy. There is a Canal Street stop on most subway lines too, so getting uptown or downtown is straightforward. The room was spacious and very comfortable. We were on the 19th floor this time with a spectacular view of the NYC skyline. I found all the staff to be professional and friendly. All in all, it's a very welcoming and comfortable hotel. I'd be reluctant to stay anywhere else, lest it didn't measure up.

The position of the hotel is ideal: it’s located along Canal Street, which is one of the most important main street of Downtown Manhattan; almost every Metro line of Manhattan has a stop, called “Canal Street”, near or not far from the hotel: so, the hotel is very well served; another positive aspect of the location of the hotel is that it’s located near Tribeca, Nolita and Soho districts; in particular, Soho is, a quarter full of life (restaurants, pubs, shops, etc.); in addiction, the building of the hotel is bordering with the Postal Office. From outside to inside, the hotel has rooms with an amazing view, looking on the Empire State Building; it has a lounge (21st floor) with roof terrace, in which you can have your breakfast. The rooms are very well cleaned and large enough with an elegant shower box; the staff is kind and polite: my wife and me have been helped by a young concierge, Wilmar, who solved a problem for us: we arrived in hotel early in the morning after a night flight. Of course, the room was not ready for check-in but Wilmar let us to use the restrooms and to have a breakfast in the lounge on the roof terrace.

The hotel is located right between Tribeca and SOHO and as such perfect for people who want to do some shopping in all the nice shops in SOHO. You find the 9/11 Memorial and the new World Trade Center One in walking distance. It's easy to use public transportation since both subway entrance, bus stops and the ferry terminals are in close distance to the hotel. Staff is very friendly and all the way forthcoming. Every request was handled professionally and quick. The training facilities were good enough and they are open 24/7. we used the equipment and found it to be up to standard. It is small room but with enough space and equipment to enable several people to train at the same time.

It's an excellent option if you want to stay in Manhattan and not pay a fortune for your stay. I loved the room I was offered -- the view was ah-mazing! Lots of good good restaurants nearby, as well as the famous Soho high-end boutiques. The food I ordered from the hotel restaurant was also top quality. Overall, I'm pleased with the service and amenities.
